Once Again, Drumline Rocks The 2011 Night Of The Stars! On February 18th, the St. Cloud All-City Drumline took their show to the big stage at the Paramount Theatre. The entire ensemble squeezed onto the stage and opened the second act of LEAF's annual Night Of The Stars event with a bang that really got the audience's attention. Thanks to the leaders, parents and performers that made this awesome event happen. It was already a busy show weekend, but our students pulled it off without a hitch! Bravo!! See more photos!
Our organization currently has an opening for one volunteer to serve as a bingo program coordinator. One of our charitable gambling sites, McCanns Food and Brew, is now running bar bingo Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. The work entails coordinating the bingo program, monitoring the inventory, and reconciling the cash at the end of the bingo event.
It’s all fairly basic work, and Dave Nohner will work with you until you are comfortable to take care of it on your own. A normal evening takes about 21/2 to 3 hrs, and, depending on turnout, bar bingo normally runs from about October through April, depending on attendance. Please keep in mind charitable gambling is a large fund raiser for our organization; we need volunteers to assist with this. Please contact Dave Nohner if you are interested in this volunteer opportunity.
