Metrodome
To anyone 16 years and older interested in information on working at a Vikings Home game at the Metrodome and earning $60.00 per game toward assessments, please contact Cindy Bragelman. Anyone wishing to work at the Metrodome will need to complete a 3 & ½ hour training session that is held at the Metrodome. Even if you have worked at the metrodome in the past you will be required to take this training. There are a limited number of training dates, so contact me to get on the calendar. This is open to band members and also their family members ages 16 and older.

Coupon Books
Coupon books are available to sell for $10.00 and $4.00 goes directly to your assessment. The coupon books are full of deals for area businesses, restaurants and attractions. The coupon books are usually available at rehearsals. No money is needed when you pick up the books, but a parent must sign them out. Contact Dick Tembruell with questions.

Coffee Fundraiser – Mugsy's Beans, Inc.
Muggsy’s Beans is a local coffee roaster here in St. Cloud. Owner, Muggsy Lauer has 15 years of coffee roasting experience and roasts only as much coffee as we need to fill our orders. Muggsy takes traditional, hands on approach to roasting coffee. He uses his senses, his nose and his eyes, to tell him when the coffee is at its peak roast.

All of the whole bean and ground varieties or blends are available in 14 oz. packages with our own custom SCAC Label and sells for $12.00 per package.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1. The Coffee Fundraiser will likely begin again for the holidays
2. Take orders from friends, family, parent’s co-workers and neighbors.
3. Collect payment when coffee is ordered.
4. Checks should be made out to: “SCAC”.
5. All order forms and money are due on Sunday, Sunday, May 16th, 2010.
6. Coffee will be delivered to students
7. For each bag of coffee ordered you will earn $4.75 towards your assessment.

Flower Power Fundraiser

We will be doing this fundraiser again in the Fall. Contact Diane Farleo at 229-9089. Watch Message Board for information.

• 1/2 of all sales goes directly to your assessment.
• Sale can start anytime.
• Collect money when the orders are placed.
• Make checks payable to SCACMB.
• Bulbs will be delivered by early May.
• Please add up orders to make sure you have the proper amount of money. If possible, please deposit cash and write check to SCACMB.

River Bats Fundraiser
River Bats Volunteer Duties 2010
Throughout the game volunteers will be doing one of 4 jobs. They are all very simple and enjoyable, after your job is done you are invited to stay and enjoy the game courtesy of the River Bats. Volunteers should arrive on time to Joe Faber field and meet Ryan Sturm in the lobby of the stadium.

Requirements:

All that we ask is that volunteers arrive on time (stated on sign-up sheet) Please remain courteous and friendly to all customers during the event. We will provide t-shirts for all volunteer staff to wear during the game, it should be returned following the game. Volunteer staff will wear the “staff” t-shirt during volunteer time and can wear/change to casual but presentable and appropriate attire during the remaining time.

Job 1: Ticket Taker- Two people will be at the front gate during every game tearing tickets as customers come through the gate.

Job 2: Ticket Taker @ VIP door- One person will be tearing tickets for VIP guests at a side door to the stadium. VIP guests include season ticket holders, host-families, and more.

Job 3: Hospitality Usher- Two people will be ushers at our two hospitality suites (one person at each suite). They will simply check tickets of everyone who enters the suite to ensure that only the people with the correct ticket are entering the suite.

Job 4: General Usher- Depending on amount of staff we will have two people in the lobby or at the hallway helping people find their tickets. They will direct people to their seat, help traffic flow in the right direction, and help customers in other aspects of seating.

Opportunities With Kenning Outsource
Kenning Outsource in St. Cloud is making available opportunities for SCAC members to earn money towards their accessments. The opportunities often come up with short notice. It is usually simple piece work like stuffing envelopes. The pay works out to be approximately $10 per hour, per person. Please contact Joanie Carlin with questions. NOTICES WILL BE POSTED ON THE MESSAGE BOARD!

Workers must be at least 12 years old. Workers under 15 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Proper footware is required. Sneakers are okay. Open toed shoes, slippers or flip flops are not.

Cub Food Receipts
Save those receipts! Cub Foods pays the band general fund 1% of any receipts we turn in. These are turned in on a quarterly basis. You can give the receipts to chaperones or board members at practice, performances, meeting, etc. Just turn them in anytime!

Candy Bar Sales
Purchase a box of candy bars. Sell each candy bar for $1.00. You will keep the dollars to cover the initial cost of the candy and an equal amount will be turned in at practice for credit to your assessment account. You can purchase as many boxes as you would like. Great for those chocolate lovers! There are currently a couple of different options for candy bar flavor varieties: M&M Mix (Plain & Peanut m&m’s, Skittles, and Snickers) $25.00 per box and it has 52 pieces in it. Profit is $27.00 per box.

Printing Jobs
Area printing companies hire the band to complete hand work such as collating, banding, glue dots, taping and sorting. These jobs come up on short notice. Watch your emails if you have signed up for fundraising alerts as this is our primary means of notification. We are paid by the piece, and is commonly known as "piece rate work." Most workers can earn anywhere from $8.00 to $12.00 per hour. If you're not on the email list to be contacted or have changed email providers, please be sure to update your information.
