Volunteers are the life blood of any nonprofit organization – especially a student-based one – and The St. Cloud All-City Marching Band is no different. Each year it takes thousands of volunteer hours to operate the organization and to make it truly something special for the students and families that participate – not to mention, the entire community that benefits from the entertainment and pride associated with the organization.
For over 25 years, The St. Cloud All-City Marching Band has grown and flourished thanks to the work of volunteers. With the exception of the directors and artistic staff, the organization has no paid staff and relies exclusively on the commitment and generosity of volunteers.

QUALIFICATIONS
That's simple. All you need is an enthusiastic interest in band activities and a desire to help students learn, grow and flourish. Volunteers, like all members of the organization including students, board members and artistic directors, are also required to abide by the organization's code of conduct policy.
WAYS TO PARTICIPATE
Chaperone
Since this is a student organization, it is essential that adult chaperones are visible at every rehearsal, performance and band function. We always try to keep shifts to a couple of hours max. Being a chaperone is very rewarding and a lot of fun. Chaperones get to know the students quite well. They come in contact with other parents and can form life-long friendships. All chaperones are required to submit to appropriate background checks.
Special Skills or Interests
From helping to sew flags or uniforms to building props. Or trip and event planning to marketing. If you have a special talent, skill or area of interest, we can sure put it to good use.
Committees
It takes several committees to make the band go. You can chair a committee or simply participate on one.
Board Of Directors
Help our organization grow and flourish! Consider serving on the St. Cloud All-City Marching Band Board. Contact Dick Tembreull or any other current board members if you are interested.
